bullodog 3pose portriture

drawings for final project "THE AIDS EPIDEMIC"

ALL ANIMATION CRITIQUES AFTER MIDTERM.

Hip Hop By: N.A.S.A.
Some of the principal of animation that I saw is fallow through and overlapping action straight ahead and pose to pose. I wasn’t really that impressed with this animation it is too simple and it wasn’t entertaining to me. There is no positive message behind it; the message I that revealed to me is money, hip hop and the game. I wasn’t in to it at all, but I believe from the reviews that I saw some people are entertained by it so that’s all it matters that it caught someone’s attention.

The flower By: Haik Hoisington Music sound by ion furjanic
Some of the principle of animation that I saw was squash and stretch with the flowers. The message I got from this animation is that marijuana is an illegal drug and people will get arrested if they get caught smoking it or if it’s within their position. The animation was really nice very well animated. Although I don’t care for the message it’s much more other serious issues out there than marijuana.

Community voice mail animated PSA
One principle of animation that I was able to put out was slow in slow out. This animation was awesome. I love the message it is very informative. Community voice mail helps the homeless to access their voice mail in order to look for jobs and doctors and contact family and friends. By having voice mail they are able to call back to the person that leaves the message.

Prada- Trembled blossoms
Produced by Hil Production, animated by: Sight Effects Los Angeles @ Prada 2008
Two principle of animation that I was able to point out is squash and stretch and Appeal. I love the fairy tale look to this animation. It almost seem like the story was down the line of Eve from the bible but it is about this women and Prada product like the shoes and purse. It has some commercial look to it. But overall I loved it. No positive message but it is entertaining and commercial type of animation.

MADRILLAIN-
MF DOOM and Madvillain from the album Madvillairy.
Two principle of animation was slow in slow out and also exaggeration. I wasn’t fascinated with this animation but it was nice.

Destiny by: zero 7
The three principle of animation I was able to point out for this animation is anticipation, fallow through, and overlapping action. I liked they used drawing animation although it was drawing it was realistic because the drawing had detail it had good use of shadows as well as lines. When I was watching this drawing animation the self expression and gestures that the characters pleased me and I was able to believe the story and message behind it.  The music really defined the animation which was very nice. The message was that there is hope at the end of the day. Just like at the end of the Animation the color went from black and white to having color.

Self fulfilling- Beady Belle, collaboration between jazz land recording artist Beady Belle and production company.
I loved the animation it was entertaining and comical. It seemed like it was created from flash to flash after effects it had some sort of 3d look to it. But to be honest it looked as if it was a puppet show. But I like the production.

RSA Animate-First Tragedy, then as force By: Slavoj Zizek 24th Nov 2009
Principle of animation that I saw was anticipation staging, fallow through, and timing.  The drawings gradually develop in to a message. The drawings fallowed through to what the narrator is explaining and the message makes more sense when you are watching the animation. The message behind this is giving to charity.

Adopt for Hope.

Ms. Kimberly is a social worker for the child and family services in the prince Georges County. One morning Ms. Kimberly goes to a home for needy kids for a visit. During her visit to the home she learns so much about the children, and falls deeply in love. The children in the home have untold stories and pain they are holding on too. As she walks around and talks with each of the children she learns more, and more. Although the home is big, it was full of young girls and boys. These children look in need of care, families, and love. One of the child Ana is close to committing suicide, as she tells Ms. Kimberly she lost her family in a car crash, and she is just hopeless. As Ms. Kimberly get close to Ana, Ana learns that Ms. Kimberly also has the same background, and has lost her family too. With the common background they share they easily connected. At the end, Ms. Kimberly didn’t want to leave these poor children. Ms. Kimberly mostly didn’t want Ana to give up, and so she asks Ana if she wanted to go home with her.  Ana says yes, with a smile. Ms. Kimberly was happy that she made one child happy but wished she can make all the other children happy too.

Dietary. Ritualistic. Animal Brutality.

Location, everywhere in the U.S.A, the 2nd week of November is very busy.  A big feast is soon to be prepared. Families are out shopping for a turkey, ham, and beef some are hunting deer, rabbit, squirrels, and more other animals.  It’s a “Holiday” so they say. Why don’t they have morals and consideration for animals? Some people don’t educate themselves. They don’t know that as humans we have canine teeth; in another word we are plant eaters. We have teeth like horses and Gorillas. These are animals that are fully vegetarians. They eat plants and termites if any. Why kill animals to eat when it’s not even healthy for us. Most of all it’s animal cruelty.
